It appears Travis Kelce didn’t like the way his absence from the Eras Tour in Dublin was being portrayed on the internet, so he surprised his girlfriend mid-concert and her reaction couldn’t be more perfect.
On the third night of the Eras Tour show in Dublin, Ireland, Taylor Swift received the sweetest surprise from her boyfriend, whom she spotted during the performance of her hit track “August.” The star tight end was seen emerging from the bowels of the stadium and moving to the VIP tent, where he was joined by Hollywood elite celebrities such as Julia Roberts and Stevie Nicks.
Mid-way through her concert, the “Lover” singer appeared to have gasped upon noticing her beau in the VIP tent, on Sunday at Aviva Stadium. Portraying shocked and excited expressions while performing “August,” Swift also pointed at her man–whom she gave a tribute at her first show in Ireland by mimicking his signature archer pose.
The Kansas City Chiefs star player apparently didn’t accompany his girlfriend to Ireland as he returned to the United States for his teammate Clyde Edwards-Helaire‘s wedding. But the minute he got free, he seemed to have taken the first flight to Ireland and surprised his girlfriend, who, judging from her reaction, wasn’t expecting Kelce.
Swifties all over the internet have been adoring this wholesome moment between the couple. The clip and pictures of the exact moment Swift’s gaze fell on the VIP tent and she realizing that Kelce was there at the concert has gone viral on the internet.
Swift’s reaction to her boyfriend’s surprise appearance at her concert wasn’t the only wholesome moment from the Eras Tour show in Dublin. After winding up the final night, Swift waved goodbye to her fans and walked off the stage.
And there Kelce was waiting for him and joined her as she arrived. As the two were walking by and the 14-time Grammy winner was waving hands to the crowd, the star tight end opened his arms to hype up the pop superstar and encourage fans to cheer even louder.
When she noticed him doing that, she rolled her eyes before giving the sweetest laugh and grabbed him by his arm. Fans have been gushing over these moments of the celebrity couple and seeing Kelce being proud of his superstar girlfriend as the couple raised the bar higher.
