It won’t be the first time the Packers have worn white uniforms and white helmets. The Packers first played around with white uniforms in 1938 and continued to use them off and on through the 1940s and 1950s. White jerseys became the standard for road games in the 1960s.

Vince Lombardi standardized the classic green and gold uniforms Packers fans are familiar with, including adding the iconic “G” logo on helmets in 1961, worn for the first time during an intra-squad game on Aug. 5, 1961.
