The Buffalo Bills have been plagued with injuries all over the field throughout the first half of the NFL season. Star linebacker Matt Milano was lost to a biceps injury before the season even began. And while he is expected to return in the latter stages of the year, his presence has been missed. The Bills have also seen cornerback Taron Johnson miss time this year with an arm injury, and their other top inside linebacker, Terrel Bernard, has missed time with a pectoral injury. Now, it appears Bernard could be gone for the Bills, once again.
Bernard missed his second straight day of practice on Thursday. And according to Ryan O’Halloran of The Buffalo News, only one Bills player in the first seven weeks has missed the first two practices of the week and played in the game.
Buffalo is looking to extend their already-commanding lead in the AFC East. They are already three games ahead of both the New York Jets (2-5) and Miami Dolphins (2-4). The Bills’ defense will be missing their top defender should Bernard not be able to play. That said, the Seahawks rank 20th in EPA per rush, meaning their defense should be able to get along fine enough to get the win should Bernard miss the game.
