The Buffalo Bills weren’t content to sit idle during NFL trade deadline day. According to a post by Alex Brasky, One Bills Drive appears set to bring back defensive tackle Jordan Phillips. A clear fan favorite and on-field ball of energy, Phillips has played his best football in Bills colors.
Phillips was most recently with the Dallas Cowboys this season, but had been released by the team. He also spent time with the New York Giants this past offseason.
In four seasons over two previous tenures with the Bills, Phillips started 19 of 54 games, making 85 tackles (56 solo), 20 tackles for loss, 27 quarterback hits, 10 pass defenses, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and 13.5 sacks.
Details of the reunion were not available at the time of posting.
