For Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce takes a shot at rival Dallas Cowboys in the most opportune way on MNF.

The Philadelphia Eagles have had a long-standing rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys. That usually means players from opposing teams tend to take jabs at each other whenever the opportunity arises. Just like retired center Jason Kelce did on MNF.
This Week 14 MNF broadcast was made extra special when ESPN analysts Mina Kimes and Dan Orlovsky appeared as Simpsons characters. During that time, Kimes suggested that the Atoms Stadium, Springfield, from where they were broadcasting, was in the ‘Armpit of America’s B***crack’.
The suggestion sent the crew of Monday Night Countdown into splits, as they could not fathom their colleagues would tread the PG line when talking about the Simpsons football stadium. Then when the cameras zoomed out to show AT&T Stadium, host Scott Van Pelt said.
This is the state of Texas, Arlington, Dallas.

Hearing this, Jason Kelce jumped in to add.
Also, the b***hole and armpit of America.

This brought out some cringe reactions from his co-panelists. He had to calm former Dallas Cowboys star Marcus Spears by suggesting it was a joke. But it is clear the rivalry between the Eagles and Cowboys was in Kelce’s subconscious mind, prompting him to feed off Mina Kimes’ words and turn it into a troll.

These comments were certain to come to the attention of Dallas Cowboys fans. They quickly caught onto the words of the six-time All-Pro, and they hammered his current residential city of Philadelphia. Some asked what he felt about his place of residence, to which he replied.

Philly is the old stinky shoe of America. Hardworking, been through some s**t, comfy, doesn’t take itself too seriously, there when you need it, hugs the foot just right, every time you slip it on, you remember how much you love it.

Jason Kelce is known for being articulate while replying on social media. This time he kept that same articulation as he kept the furious Dallas Cowboys fans at bay with his well-structured response. He knows as a Philadelphia Eagles player; he was going to have to face that fire.
But it does not take away from the fact that, in his mind, the rivalry is well and truly there. He might not play for them anymore and has donned the analyst hat with ESPN, but when it comes to that rivalry, it is too close to his heart to let it go.
