After another impressive performance, the Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen solidified his MVP odds even further. But he isn’t stopping there as his ultimate goal remains the Vince Lombardi Trophy and Colin Cowherd knows it pretty well.
Over the course of the last two weeks, Allen became the front-runner for the NFL MVP award. The team’s recent 48-42 victory against the Detroit Lions has significantly bolstered his MVP candidacy. The signal-caller showcased his skills by throwing 362 yards and two touchdowns while adding two rushing scores to his impressive tally.
After seeing him dominate another game, sports analyst Cowherd proclaimed Allen the most talented quarterback of all time on his podcast “The Herd with Colin Cowherd.”
Josh Allen is the most talented quarterback I’ve ever seen. I’ll die on that hill–We’re all lucky we were born in a time you can watch him. I’ve never seen anything like it. I always thought John Elway was the greatest athlete to play quarterback, but compared to Allen, the Denver Broncos Hall of Famer looks small and lumbering… The kid’s unbelievable. I’ve never seen a quarterback this good.

Although the star quarterback has yet to reach the Super Bowl, Cowherd believes it does not diminish Allen’s capabilities. He asserts that fans are fortunate to witness his talent during this era of football.

After taking a hit to the chest from opposing defensive end Josh Paschal, Allen fell on his right shoulder and then, he was wrestled by linebackers Ben Niemann and Jack Campbell, resulting in him landing hard on his right shoulder.
The Bills amassed a staggering 559 yards of total offense against the Lions in what became the highest-scoring game of this season. Allen finished the game with 23 of 34 passes for 362 passing yards, two touchdowns along with 68 yards and two rushing touchdowns on 11 carries.
