Indulge in Nature’s Delight at Afternoon Tea in the Garden

This summer, Woodland Park Zoo is inviting guests to an experience that marries the joys of food with the awe of wildlife. A new event series, Grazing at the Zoo, kicks off with an elegant Afternoon Tea in the Garden, starting May 4. This not just a culinary delight but an opportunity to sip, unwind, and connect with nature.

Imagine yourself seated in the tranquil setting of the Microsoft Pollinator Patio, surrounded by vibrant blooms and lush greenery. As you enjoy a tiered selection of sweet and savory treats—from gourmet tea sandwiches to freshly baked scones—you can feel truly immersed in the natural beauty that the zoo embodies. Designed for various occasions, whether it’s a special gathering for Mother's Day or a serene break with loved ones, this Afternoon Tea is a toast to the essence of nature.

What sets this event apart is not just the menu but the immersive experience it offers. Each culinary event in the Grazing at the Zoo series, including the upcoming Papa Bear Brunch and Pancakes with Penguins, brings participants a step closer to the zoo’s mission of conservation and wildlife education. Tickets for the Afternoon Tea are reasonably priced at $85 for adults and $65 for children, with the added perk of a complimentary glass of prosecco for guests aged 21 and up.

The event will occur through various dates from May to September, with set timings between 11:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It presents a unique opportunity for both animal lovers and culinary enthusiasts alike to indulge in nature and contribute to the zoo's conservation efforts.
