Roaring Nights Concert Series Returns To Brookfield Zoo Chicago

This summer, Brookfield Zoo in Chicago is set to ignite excitement with its beloved Roaring Nights Concert Series. This annual event promises to offer not only sensational music but also a chance to support wildlife conservation efforts, making it an important highlight for both animal lovers and music fans alike.

The concert series, which last year attracted nearly 13,000 attendees over three nights, returns with a line-up that caters to a variety of musical tastes. Kicking off on June 21 at 7:30 p.m. will be the legendary band +LIVE+, known for their hit songs "Lightning Crashes" and "I Alone." Following this, on July 18, the chart-topping alt-rock group Third Eye Blind will perform audience favorites including "Semi-Charmed Life" and "Jumper." The series will culminate on August 16 with two popular acts: Tonic, famous for their song "If You Could Only See," and Better Than Ezra, who have made waves with hits like "Good" and "King of New Orleans." Each encounter promises to deliver a night to remember.

Tickets for the event, which start at $70, will be available from April 24 at 10 a.m., with exclusive discounts offered to Zoo members. Notably, a portion of the ticket sales will directly fund the Zoo's Wildlife Conservation Fund, which aids in animal care and conservation projects both locally and globally. This initiative underscores the dual mission of the event: to provide entertainment while actively supporting wildlife and conservation.

“Roaring Nights is a concert experience unlike any other in the city,” said Andrea Rodgers, Senior Vice President of Guest Experience and Operations at Brookfield Zoo. She expressed enthusiasm for the lineup, promising attendees an unforgettable summer evening filled with music, wildlife encounters, and the opportunity to make a difference.

Beyond the music, concert-goers can look forward to special merchandise and unique experiences, such as close encounters with animal ambassadors and scenic rides on the Zoo’s Ferris Wheel as sunset approaches. The entire atmosphere is designed to integrate enjoyment with education and appreciation of wildlife.

As we soak in the music and support conservation efforts at this year’s Roaring Nights, one wonders: how can we further elevate our stewardship of nature while enjoying such events? We invite you to share your thoughts in the comments below!
