BREAKING NEWS: Davante Adams has just opened the possibility for a return to the Packers!!!!

As the Green Bay packers gear up for a hopeful postseason journey, some of their former star players can only watch from the sidelines. Former packers standout and current New York Jets wide receiver, Davante Adams, finds himself sitting out this playoff season with his new team.

Although he has changed teams, the outcome remains unchanged for Adams, who previously spent two-and-a-half seasons with the Las Vegas Raiders. During an appearance on NFL personality Kay Adams’ show, Up Adams, on Friday, the wide receiver faced several questions. The most captivating topic arose when he was asked about his future and the possibility of returning to a former team.

“so, would you pick up a call from a team that rhymes with ‘shmackers’?” she playfully inquired. Davante responded with a laugh. “You can’t dismiss anything. i have a lot of affection for the organizations i’ve been a part of, so i wouldn’t rule anyone out,” he shared. Davante Adams appears open to the idea of rejoining the packers.

He explained that making career decisions over the past few years might have upset some people, but his focus has been on winning. Regarding a potential return to Green Bay, he is not closing that door. “i would say yes, i’m open-minded… the packers have a strong team, and if they thought it was a possibility for me… this offseason is definitely going to be interesting,” he mentioned.

Adams concluded his remarks by stating he’s “keeping an open mind,” so interpret that as you will. The timing of this question is intriguing, especially with Christian Watson recently tearing his ACL and now facing a long recovery. The packers still lack a proven No. 1 wide receiver within their current lineup.

There are numerous skilled players in both the wide receiver and tight end groups, but having someone like Adams could significantly enhance the offense. His presence could create more opportunities for Jayden Reed to be utilized creatively, while also giving Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks more space to maneuver, which would greatly benefit quarterback Jordan Love.

Although there is still a considerable amount of time before any offseason transactions occur, it’s worth noting that Adams may be on his way out of New York. Green Bay seems to be a potential destination.
