Cheetah Cub’s Precious Purrs: A Heartwarming Moment at Cincinnati Zoo

If you were to ask strangers on the street, 'What's one sign of a happy cat?' almost everyone would think of purring. While it's true that purring is a sound of contentment among felines big and small, there are so many other ways to tell how a cat is feeling. From their tail posture to their facial expression, cats have many ways of expressing their emotions. Nonetheless, none of those sounds are quite as adorable as purring. This gentle noise can soothe anyone, even when it originates from a wild animal like one of the cheetah cubs at the Cincinnati Zoo. Kiara is one of three six-month-old cheetah cubs who call the zoo home, and she enchanted her caretakers and fans with her precious naptime purrs on May 6. Fortunately, her zookeepers don't believe in gatekeeping, so they shared the precious moment on the zoo's TikTok account for everyone to enjoy. What a little cutie pie! This sleepy baby kitty could make anyone swoon with her sweetness, and her heart-shaped nose is the most adorable cherry on top. She just looks so soft and angelic! Naturally, other video viewers are just as enchanted with this adorable baby animal. Plenty of folks shared how they wish they could kiss or boop this sleeping cheetah's nose, while others admitted to listening to her contented purr on repeat. It's such a relaxing sound to hear, whether you're a person or a cat. "Did she just wake up, see you, and start purring?" asked @capnmac. She totally did! This must be the ultimate sign of love between a big cat and their caretaker, so whoever was behind the camera should feel honored. Cincinnati Cheetahs If you think Kiara's sleepy purrs are cute, wait until you hear that she has two BFFs! Sisters Lulu and Zola are also residents of the zoo's cheetah habitat, where all three of them make daily appearances so the public can see them, too. No matter how old these adorable animal babies get, their precious purrs and playtime could make anyone smile! These girls are a can't-miss attraction at the zoo, so don't forget to buy tickets to visit them before they grow up before our eyes. Looking for more PetHelpful updates?
