Englewood Park Welcomes Back Miniature Train Rides And Animal Farm Fun
The City of Englewood has exciting news for families and animal lovers: the Belleview Park miniature train and animal farm are officially reopening this summer! Starting Saturday, this beloved local attraction will once again offer rides and petting opportunities that are sure to delight visitors of all ages.
Located in the heart of Englewood, Colorado, this miniature train is renowned as the most popular in the Denver metro area. The reopening weekend is set to run from the Saturday before Memorial Day until the holiday itself, open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Visitors can expect a lively atmosphere complete with food trucks, face painters, and various activities designed to elevate their experience.
Tickets for both the animal farm and the miniature train ride are reasonably priced at $3 per person, with complimentary entry for children under the age of two. This initiative allows families to enjoy a fun day out without breaking the bank.
In addition to its general operations, the animal farm will host low sensory days this summer, specifically on Friday, June 27; Saturday, July 12; and Wednesday, August 6. These special days start early at 8:45 a.m. and are designed to create a more inclusive environment with minimal sounds, smaller crowds, and improved accessibility for guests who may require it. This move underscores Englewood’s commitment to making recreational activities available to all members of the community.
As we anticipate the reopening of the train and animal farm, it’s essential to recognize the joy and learning these attractions bring to our community, especially for younger generations. Englewood Park not only serves as a space for fun but also fosters a connection with nature, animals, and the importance of enjoying our outdoor environments.
