That, however, was not the case during our safari ride in Ukraine. As they say, the Lion was only looking for love. No, not at all. This enormous cat clambered over tourists and even licked their faces!
Tourists proceeded to play with lion name Filya, pet him and take videos and selfies of the rare event.
Owner of the park and ‘lion whisperer’ Oleg Zubkov, 50, was on board to supervise the close encounter.
This incident occurred just days after another woman was brutally attacked. Olga Solomina had been attacked by a different lion named Vitya and had suffered arm injuries. According to the Daily Mail, the lion whisperer claims Olga consumed wine before going on the safari.
