Bills Quarterback Gets Green Light Despite Injury Scare

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has been cleared to play in Thursday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Allen injured his left hand while scoring a rushing touchdown against the Arizona Cardinals but played the remainder of the game. Head coach Sean McDermott confirmed that Allen is expected to participate fully in practice.

Cornerback Taron Johnson will miss the Dolphins game due to a forearm injury sustained in the Cardinals game. Cam Lewis, who recorded ten tackles after replacing Johnson, is expected to start.

Defensive end Dawuane Smoot will also miss the Dolphins game due to a toe injury.

Allen’s second rushing touchdown included a hurdle over Cardinals safety Budda Baker, which led to the hand injury. Allen acknowledged the risk involved in such plays, stating that he made a split-second decision to hurdle Baker.
