Mustard, who was selected in the third round, 67th overall has been deemed a heavy shooter, sniper and a player with great speed according to eliteprospects.com. It seems that mustard is geared towards the offensive side of the game where he has great puck moving ability, great speed and has a powerful wrist shot.

General manager Kyle Davidson has put an emphasis on acquiring and drafting as many players as possible during their rebuilding phase. He has filled up the cupboards with many prospects on all levels of the game and one aspect of the Blackhawks game that need improvement is on the offense.
The team was starved of offence over the past couple of years, but it seems the team is now turning a corner and looking to move the needle and begin to make noise in the standings. Mustard will get his chance at training camp this year to be looked at but will begin be playing for Providence College in 2025.
He will certainly be a player to watch in the upcoming couple of years.
