“I had a little blood”: Steph Curry bluntly shrugs off injury worries from Team USA Olympics camp

Day 2 of the Team USA Olympics camp featured more scrimmages with the star-filled roster involving Steph Curry, LeBron James, etc. However, there was a brief concern when the two-time MVP got his hand checked out by the medical staff after a practice run. Following the report, it didn’t take long for a reassuring update on the matter to be posted by NBC Sports Bay Area’s Dalton Johnson.

Looking over the men’s roster in this year’s USA Basketball, there’s no denying the importance of Curry’s inclusion. His shotmaking remains incredibly efficient at this stage of his career as he also adds some quality decision-making in his production.

Luckily for the team, the Warriors superstar isn’t too worried about his hand incident, per Dalton Johnson’s report on X.

“I had a little blood,” Curry said.

Before the team’s latest shootarounds, Steph Curry was the first player to show up to training camp in Las Vegas. The last time he represented the USA was in the 2014 FIBA World Cup, which was held in Spain.

During that year’s gold medal run, the 3-point shooting marksman posted 10.7 points (40.8% shooting, including 43.8% from beyond the arc), 2.9 assists and 2.8 rebounds per game.
