Mysterious 20ft white and hairy ‘sea monster’ washes up on shore: Terrified locals beg!

A mysterious sea creature that resembled a “dead monster” washed up on a beach, raising concerns about an impending disaster.

The giant hairy blob erupted last night at around 7pm and was immediately considered to be a ‘globster.’

The 20ft long beast is covered in what looks like thick white fur

Marine workers arrived to collect samples of the unknown creature, which they describe as “awful” and smelling like “something from another planet.”

Villagers in the Philippines’ Oriental Mindoro province flocked to see the 20-foot-long dead carcass, posing for selfies with it.

Others, however, believe it is a sign of a natural disaster, such as an earthquake.

Resident Tam Maling said: “An earthquake is heading for Oriental Mindoro. The big globster is a sign of something bad coming. Please pray for us.”

Vincent Dela Pena Badillo added: “Many were alarmed including me when we learned the news about it. It has been told that when creatures from the deepest parts of the ocean start appearing, something bad will happen.”

Mother-of-two Imelda Mariz said she had taken her children to see the creature which they thought was a “monster”.

She said: “I couldn’t believe what it was, I’ve never seen anything like it. In God’s name, I was shocked. The children were scared it was a dead monster. Nobody knows what it is yet.”

Neighbors gathered around the ‘globster,’ which was laying in shallow sea water on the beach in San Antonio, to get a better look at the animal.

It is approximately 4ft wide at one end and approximately 2ft wide at the other, and it is greyish white in color. A similar ‘globster’ creature appeared in Dinagat Islands, Philippines, last February which officials said was an Orca whale or a manatee.

Government workers from the Mimapora Region’s Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources will now dispose of the creature, which they believe is a dead whale, later today.

Fishery Law Enforcement Officer Vox Krusada said: “Today we just gathered a samples of it for further analysis.

“For now we can say its a whale, but the exact species is still unknown. The tissue samples are now sent to our lab for DNA analysis.

“The local government of Gloria will now bury the carcass. And damn it smells awful. it smells like something from another planet.

“I really experienced the full power of its smell because im the one who took the tissue samples. I almost puked. I felt better after taking a bath but the stench still lingers in my nose.”

Scientists believe it is most likely the rotting remains of a whal

This isn’t the first time a “globster” has popped up on land.

In February 2017, a similar-looking creature also washed ashore in the Phillipines — just off the Dinagat Islands.

Similarly, the animal was 20 feet long, weighed around 4,000 pounds and had “long, shaggy white hair,” according to a National Geographic report at the time.
