Buffalo Bills running back James Cook is reportedly under investigation following a report from a proprietor who claims the 25-year-old ran up a bill at his establishment and left without paying.
According to the BillsOutlet account on X, the star running back ordered drinks totaling up to $860 on September 22 but never paid what was due.
The photo below shows a police report in which James is named as a suspect, with Venu Nite Club owner David Robida as the complainant. It also shows that the NFL player bought a $600 bottle of Don Julio, a $200 bottle of Belaire, a bottle of Fiji water at $40, and a $20 energy drink.
James Cook Missed Practice On Thursday
Meanwhile, James Cook has been listed on the Bills’ injury report with a toe injury. Having missed practice twice this week, there are fears that he could miss their ‘Monday Night Football’ fixture against the New York Jets in Week 6.

The Bills will deploy Ray Davis and Ty Johnson if their next game comes too soon for their No. 1 running back option.
Davis has shown plenty of potential, but whether he’s formidable enough to go for a full game remains to be seen.
Of course, this new legal wrinkle is not great for the Bills, either. Then again, they may have the wrong James Cook.
