Trevon Diggs makes bold claim that will excite Cowboys fans

His latest claim is bound to make Cowboys fans very excited. That is because it includes Dallas winning its first Super Bowl since the 90s. Diggs is predicting that drought will end soon.

The NFL Twitter account asked who will be the next quarterback to win their first Super Bowl. Diggs simply replied “4”, referencing quarterback Dak Prescott.

Prescott and Diggs have put back-to-back double-digit win seasons together. Dallas has won the NFC East and hosted a playoff game during the 2021 season. Then, Dallas pulled off the road playoff win over Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this past season.

Still, there is work to be done for Diggs to come close to being right.

Fortunately, it appears that head coach Mike McCarthy is aware of that fact. McCarthy has made some staff changes, specifically on the offensive side of the ball, that could give Dallas a different look.

Furthermore, Diggs and the Cowboys defense should continue to thrive. That is because Dan Quinn is back for another season running the show on that side of the ball. Another offseason of development, Quinn’s coaching, and Micah Parsons getting better is exciting to think about.

All in all, Trevon Diggs was likely just having some fun on social media while giving his quarterback some props at the same time. That said, it is clear that he is confident about the Dallas Cowboys getting over the hump sooner rather than later.

Nothing would be sweeter after years and years of coming up short.
