Vikings star Adam Thielen makes his WR pick between Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams and Justin Jefferson

Jefferson had another incredible year in 2022, putting up 128 catches for 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns. It was his third straight Pro Bowl selection and he was named to the All-Pro first team, too.

There are a lot of wideouts in the NFL that can make a case for being the best: Ja’Marr Chase, Adams, Hill, Diggs, DeAndre Hopkins, A.J. Brown and more.

For Thielen, it’s not even a question. He told TMZ that Jefferson is “for sure” the best wide receiver in football.

Thielen is certainly a bit biased. Playing with arguably the best wideout in the NFL certainly has its perks for the second pass-catcher on the team. Coverage almost always shifts towards Jefferson, leaving Thielen in more desirable situations.

Nevertheless, it’s hard to argue with Thielen’s pick. Jefferson is in that conversation if he’s not the best already.

Thielen hesitated to name Justin Jefferson the greatest of all time, though. The 23-year-old LSU product has some way to go to catch Randy Moss, Jerry Rice and others, but he’s well on his way to entering the debate.

The Vikings, ironically, traded Thielen’s former teammate Diggs a few seasons ago. They formed one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL. One of the picks the Vikings got back was spent on Jefferson, who Thielen now calls the best in the sport.

Is Justin Jefferson the best wide receiver in the NFL?

It’s hard to pick one wide receiver to stand above the rest, especially since they do different things and play in different situations.

Tyreek Hill, Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, Cooper Kupp (when healthy) and a few others like Davante Adams have a genuine case for being the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Is Justin Jefferson the best wide receiver in the NFL?

Jefferson is coming off an unbelievable season in which he won Offensive Player of the Year, so it’s reasonable to say he’s wearing the crown right now.
