Erin Andrews Reacts To Ezekiel Elliott Getting Cut By The Dallas Cowboys (PIC)

For the first time in his career, Ezekiel Elliott is a free agent.

Elliott was reportedly willing to take a pay cut t stay with the Dallas Cowboys, but the Cowboys decided to part ways with him instead. His move has been designated as a post-June 1 cut which will give the Cowboys nearly $11 million in cap space.

Erin Andrews, who is a reporter for FOX, reacted to the news by taking to Instagram to remember the many interviews she had with Zeke and Dak Prescott.

“These two. And those smiles. #214. So much fun to interview and be around. Always grateful of their time,” Andrews wrote on Instagram.

Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith hated the move as he took to the team’s comments section on Instagram to voice his pleasure Wednesday.

“Wow, this is amazing to me — no disrespect to Malik Davis. Our starting running back is gone, and his backup has a broken leg?” Smith said. “The NFL stands for not for long. Everyone else, go get your money because they have no love for you.”

Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 8,262 yards and 68 touchdowns in his seven-year career with the Dallas Cowboys. The three-time Pro Bowler led the league in rushing in 2016 and 2018 and ranks third in Cowboys franchise history behind Smith and Tony Dorsett in yards and touchdowns.

The Ohio State product will start the second chapter of his NFL career in unfamiliar territory while looking to rebuild his value.
