The turtle was discovered when Mr. Hung was repairing a grave near his house. After discovering, Mr. Hung informed the village chief and proceeded to remove the turtle and the stele from the ground.
After discovering this ancient tortoise, Mr. Trinh Minh Toan, the village head held an urgent village meeting and decided to bring the turtle and the stone stele back to the old location.
According to the village school’s story, the old turtle had lime material, the surface was rough with a width of nearly 1m, a length of more than half a meter, weighing about half a ton and lost his hind legs; and the stele was broken, half of which was left with traces of Vietnamese, An and many ancient scripts that could not be translated.
The elders in this village guessed that this is probably the Tomb of Con Rua, which existed 300 years ago.
