NFL Legends Warn Tua Tagovailoa After Scary Injury

A scary moment unfolded during the highly anticipated matchup between the undefeated Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa found himself at the center of concern as he suffered an apparent head injury.

The incident occurred on a fourth-down play where Tagovailoa took a hard hit from Bills safety Damar Hamlin while scrambling for the first down. The impact left Tagovailoa visibly shaken, unable to get up on his own.

The injury immediately sparked reactions from the NFL community, with former players like Dez Bryant and Shannon Sharpe voicing their concerns on social media, even suggesting that retirement might be the best course of action for the young quarterback.

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa left Thursday night’s game against the Buffalo Bills with a head injury and did not return. Skylar Thompson replaced Tagovailoa, who threw for 145 yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions before exiting the game.

The injury occurred when Tagovailoa was attempting to get a first down. He ducked his head as he approached Damar Hamlin and ran into the defender’s midsection.

This latest injury is a major concern for the Dolphins, as Tagovailoa’s 2022 season was marred by multiple concussions, an issue that even led him to consider retirement.

Despite signing a lucrative four-year, $212.4 million contract extension in July, Tagovailoa’s long-term health and availability remain a significant question mark.
