Nina is a dog who was found in what would have been her last moments of life. The poor dog seemed to be accustomed to having puppies and selling them, but not only did she suffer from separation anxiety, she was also neglected to the point of being malnourished and having her eyes severely damaged. When ThisisHouston discovered her situation, they rescued her and took her to the veterinarian, who removed her eyes. Although she was initially a sad dog, her temperament changed over time.

Life was finally getting better for this dog, but her heart broke when she went through the test twice with two different families, and neither of them adopted her. However, ‘third time’s the charm,’ as the saying goes, because every story has a happy ending.

Nina was found on a bridge in the town of Rosenberg, Texas, according to ThisisHouston, an animal rescue organization. People who saw this dog were afraid to approach her because she was lying there, so thin that when they looked at her bones, they assumed she was dead, so they called a rescuer to check on her.

She had advanced malnutrition, her eyes were full of mucus and infections, but the most surprising thing is that, while they initially assumed she was spayed, once they evaluated her, they realized that Nina was almost certainly exploited to have many offspring. When she got sick, they decided that throwing her away and abandoning her on that bridge would be a better way to take care of her.

Due to the dog being very thin and sick, they had to remove her eyes due to an infection. It completely transformed her life in just two months. Their volunteers adored her because her determination and willpower were inspiring.

Just like her foster family, another family cared for her, and the love they provided was crucial for her desire and success. They loved this dog despite her stubbornness.

Nina’s Best Home

It was very hard for her adoptive parents to let her go for the third time, but they receive regular updates and are even supposed to take care of her puppies soon. Plus, having the courage to say ‘goodbye’ means they will be able to save another needy puppy. We are all happy for Nina. ‘Happily ever after, little girl!’ the foundation declared.

Undoubtedly, this is the ending this little dog deserved after enduring so much pain at the hands of people who didn’t appreciate all the love she was willing to give.
